Sylvamo Nymölla mill is located twenty kilometers east of Kristianstad in Bromölla municipality. The mill produces pulp using the magnefite method and uncoated fine paper. Multicopy is our most well-known product. The production capacity is 340,000 tons of pulp and 475,000 tons of fine paper.

This role offers a varied everyday life where you work with troubleshooting and problem-solving as well as project management. This means you will have the opportunity to work both independently and in a team.
You will be part of our maintenance department and belong to a team of six people who work with and are responsible for the mechanical maintenance of our machines and equipment.

About the position In this role, you will work with Energy & Recovery at our pulp mill, where the focus is on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis as well as starting up mechanical equipment after a shutdown. You will be responsible for leading various types of projects and managing external resources, which means ordering, coordinating, and following up on contractors' work. The work takes place both in the office and out in the operations with a practical “hands-on” approach.
The role also includes cost control and ensuring that the correct methodology and technology are used in problem-solving to achieve the highest quality at the right cost.

Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary education of at least three years with a mechanical focus, or other education/experience deemed equivalent.
Examples of relevant education: Maintenance Engineer, Marine Engineer, Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
At least 5 years of documented experience in maintenance operations with a focus on mechanics.
Solid experience in project management and very good knowledge of mechanical equipment.
Experience with boilers and turbines is a plus.
· Languages and Systems:
You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Knowledge of CAD is an advantage.
Good computer skills, preferably experience with SAP.
